Hometown: Bloomington | |
Formed in 1987, Arson Garden was one of the most popular Bloomington bands of its time. They released three albums plus a cassette album, including two on national labels. The band’s post-punk/goth inspired sound and songwriting, and the strong vocals of April Combs, probably should have carried them further into the national spotlight had better luck come their way. April and Michael Mann are married and relocated to Cincinnati. James Combs continues to do solo music in Los Angeles. James, April and Michael Mann teamed up in around 2009 to release an album under the name Honneycombs which had great potential, but the geographical distance between band members limited their work. April Combs is involved in youth music as April Eight. |
