The Cassidy Sisters, from Indianapolis, released two 45’s in the late 1950’s, part of Indy’s early rock scene. Their sound was a fusion of girl group vocals with rockabilly instrumentation. “Teenage Flirt/Don’t Teach Me” was released on Solid Gold, an Indianapolis label, in 1957, while “Stardust Waltz/Rockin’ At The Hop” came out in 1958 on Hop Records, billed as Cassidy Sisters with the Titanics. No information available on the Titanics, and this may be the only release for the Hop Label of Indianapolis. Solid Gold, on the other hand, released more than a dozen 45’s during the late 1950’s and 1960’s. | |
