| The Eliminators – mostly high school students from Greenwood, and Jim Moore from Franklin. Released a 45 that featured a great surf sound and the Indianapolis 500 theme. At the time the Lotus was just a couple of years into the rear engine conquering of the 500. Sponsored (financed) by Rodger Ward, two time Indy winner. Wiggin left the band and they reformed with Dale Young (Emeralds) as “The Students”, and left us two other 45s. | |
