I played Bass Guitar, Tenor Sax and traveled with
“The Jokers” in the early 60’s. Glynn Hipp played lead guitar and was the leader. I think he played through a Rat Butts Echosonic amp. (Amp choice of : Scottie Moore, Chet Atkins and Roy Orbison.
Johns played drums. Larry sang lead. Harold also sang. A great Rock ‘N’ Roll group! The played the Eagles Theatre in Marion Indiana and clubs in
Ohio.
Mark Barnett how well did you know the Jokers. My dad Larry Kinser was the lead singer. I would love to hear some stories.
