| From the Emblems, with one member change, and the desire to stretch to more “sophisticated” music, and do some solos, here are the “International Grapefruite”. Only one 45 from the Grapefruite, with “Every Night” penned by “Sir Winston & the Commons” Ron Matelic and Herb Crawford. The b-side “Naptowns Alive People” shows a William H Duke as writer credit, but the band tells me that Al Stone wrote the song. Pen-name perhaps, I’ll confirm soon. The International Grapefruite soon became “Good Seed” and released several lp’s and at least one 45. | |
