Hometown: Indianapolis | |
Windopane formed in Indianapolis in 1994 as a hard psych rock band following the demise of DeMyer and Brindle’s prior band, Bad Kitty. Mark Cutsinger was added on drums. They released two albums, See? on OR Records and Lucky Catatonia on their own Open Records. Paul Mahern plays synthesizer on Lucky Catatonia. DeMyer had previously played in Indianapolis band Delirium; he was also owned two record shops, Alternative Music and Funhouse Records, in the 1990’s and early 2000’s. DeMyer opened a recording studio, Funhouse Studios, where he recorded, produced and mastered several recordings. DeMyer played on the Stan Denski-led Many Bright Things records, which were recorded at Funhouse Studios. Brindle departed for New York in the late 1990’s, launching the Beki Brindle Band. |
