Not much information is available on South Bend‘s Apollos, other than their single, “Nora Lee/Never Again” was released by Chicago label Orlyn Records in 1966.  Orlyn recorded bands in their studio for a fee, and the band was provided a small quantity of records to use for promotion or sales, in the range of 100 copies, with most bands not going further.  Apollos are one of several Indiana garage bands to appear on Orlyn, including Fireflys, Wild Ones, and Try-Angle.  Most Orlyn releases are quite scarce, with few copies surviving today.
