| Arnie and his Soul Brothers were neither a soul band, nor brothers. However, they were among the first local rock and roll bands to emerge in Bloomington, beginning in the late 1950’s and continuing through 1964. The band released three singles and an LP, “Doin’ The Prune”; the early 45’s were on the band’s Emmes label, with one 45 and the LP on northern Indiana label F. D. Arnold Records. The LP is quite scarce owing to the vast majority of copies being destroyed in a basement flood. | |
