The Blacks and Blues emerged after the breakup of Anderson band The Chalets. Lead singer McDonald recruited new musicians for The Blacks and Blues, including Kopko, whose brother had been in The Chalets. They released two singles, the first on United Artists in 1968, “Come To Me/Bye Bye Baby”, and one on Indianapolis label Talun Records in 1969, “Candy Castles/Midsummer Night’s Dream”. “Come To Me” appeared on Psychedelic States – Indiana, a Gear Fab CD, whle “Bye Bye Baby” has also been compiled. |
