The Blankenship Brothers were a genre-defying bluegrass/country/rockabilly band from Indianapolis with a distinct hillbilly flavor.  They released four singles, most of them on their own Skyline Records imprint.  Collectors and aficionados of authentic country music have kept their memory alive. A compilation CD was released in 1999.

Looking for their family history and relations and kin…my grandmother’s maiden name is Blankenship and her father was Condy Blankenship with her uncle Mitch Blankenship
Both where from the floyd or knot County area of Kentucky with both settling in Indiana where we live today
