Bonnie Gringo Band

Hometown: Fort Wayne | |
Bonnie Gringo Band has its roots in Fort Wayne, started by Tim Briggs and his brother David. The band was based in Florida, though, touring extensively and releasing one album on Florida label Auric Records; it was also recorded at Auric’s studio. There was nobody named Bonnie Gringo in the band. The LP is well regarded by fans of southern and country rock, and is hard to locate due to its small pressing. More info on the band as well as on Tim Briggs and his son, Ransom is available at the links. Tim Briggs has had a long career as a solo artist and played guitar for the mega country group Alabama for a time. |
