Otis Clay’s family moved to Muncie in 1953 and was in Indiana for just a few teenage years. He is best known as a longtime Chicago blues and soul performer, having located there in 1957. He recorded on several labels, later on his own Echo Records label. He was a popular performer in Japan and Europe. He was selected to the Blues Hall of Fame in 2013. | |
