Feebe n’ the Ragweed Patche hailed from Ft. Wayne, Indiana and left us one 45. Released on the BEN label (Billy E. Nix – label owner), which was known for 60’s country releases (Indiana Red Birds, Billy Crum and others), with the Surf Suns as the only other more spirited 45. “Burn the Midnight oil / Monkey Man”, both penned by Don LeFevra, are excellent early 70’s rock songs. Don Vaubel (along with brother Jack) was previously in the Shillings (Ft. Wayne). | |
