The Care Package of Indianapolis released one 45, “Storm/Ooh Song” in 1973 on Jocelyn Records, which appears to be the only release on the label. Paul Irvin produced this record; he also played in an early version of the Vanguards and co-wrote their hit song “Somebody Please”. The band’s mellow soul sound is characterized by strong female lead vocals. The recording was done at Gilfoy Sound Studios in Bloomington. |
