Clark, Rickie
Rickie Clark is a multi-talented music professional based in Indianapolis. Originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee, Clark was a DJ at urban WTLC-FM while also an IMPD patrolman. In the late 1970’s, Clark founded Circle City Records (later merging the label with gospel imprint Tyscot) and began issuing recordings. His “Ladies Rights” 12″, released in 1980, is considered the first rap record in Indianapolis. Clark has production credits on a number of gospel, soul and hip hop recordings, primarily in the 1980’s. | |
