The Enchanting Enchanters, from East Chicago, recorded two soul singles during their career which began in 1967. The first, “No One In This World/Boss Action”, was released on the BenMoKeith label, which was owned by Gordon Keith of Steeltown Records, the original home of the Jackson Five. The second 45, “The Struggler/Winds And Sea” which issued on Atco, with both Steeltown and Dunwich Records involvement. The first single is quite scarce, while the Atco 45 can be located at relatively reasonable prices. The band later shortened their name to The Enchanters, and has reunited a few times. |
